He got over a dead wife, he’ll get over a dead girlfriend. It’s nothing. She was nothing. He has me, and I’ve always been here, he’s just not appreciated me as he should have, but he’s going to. I should’ve done this a long time ago. Taken charge. Made him mine rather than try to suggest and manipulate. I would’ve saved myself hundreds of years of aggravation.
But we’re together now and he’ll have to see that this is the way things were meant to be. We’re the same, Seth and I; vicious and insatiable. I’ll have to remind him of these things, but that will be the fun part.

This second installment was as engaging as the first, but again I felt several things were stated one too many times. However, the story was imaginative and enjoyable for the most part. I did have some issues with the dialog but the story made up for it. I do recommend the story as an entertaining and creative read.Product details

Great book to get lost in! Great read, amazing story, you'll fall in love with the characters. Carol was born to be a storyteller!
This was just as detailed and descriptive as your first one, The Wanderer.
Just when I thought I had the plot figured out it took another turn.
Book 3 needs to get here.....what a great storyline.
This was one book I could not put down,when I did I picked it right back up. The love story was mixed with mystery as well as horror. It was an incredible read. I also read the first book which lead me to this.
Best books I have ever read. Yes.. better than Twilight, Harry Potter, House of Night.... I recommend this series to everyone I talk to. No lie. I can not wait to read everything Carol writes! I hope these books come out as paperback so I can order them all and talk her into signing them! 😁
This book has everything. Excellent story that keeps you turning the pages. Wonderful follow up to Wanderer. I so feel like I know these people and to me that's what makes a book great. I can't wait to start number 3.
Carol has done it again! The writing was superb and the story sucked me in and I couldn't put it down! I can wait for book #3!
I rated the first book of this series WANDERER. It follows the first in keeping my attention. It's as good as the first one. I would recommend this series to my friends wholeheartedly. Carol Sabel Blodgett has a unique style of writing. Very entertaining.
